Volcano By Storz and Bickel
Volcano Vaporizer Review
The Volcano vaporizer is the king of tabletop vaporizers, no doubt about it, and it's not something we just say, but almost all vaporizer users agree with this statement. It's perfect for vaping herbs, dry oils, and concentrates, but it's expensive and not portable. However, it’s ideal for those who love to vape in the comfort of their own home. It is produced by Storz and Bickel, a trusted name for quality for vaporizers like the Crafty and Mighty. Its build quality is very high, the vapor it produces is optimal, both in terms of taste and density and temperature. It is also one of the easiest vaporizers to use. We've been using it for years, and it still works like the first day.

Classic Volcano Vaporizer
The Solid Valve version of the Volcano vaporizer is made of high-quality stainless steel and heat resistant plastic. This version offers different size bags that are reusable, enabling users to save money. The disadvantage of the bags are they have to be cleaned to be reusable. Furthermore, the quality of the oven and nozzle are superior to the Easy Valve version.
The Easy Valve version of the Volcano vaporizer has been designed so you don't have to invest a lot of time in maintenance. In return, it has a couple of disadvantages but only comes in one bag size. The drawback of the disposable bags, means spending extra money to purchase replacement bags.
We prefer the Solid Valve version because it gives us the flexibility to adapt the dimensions of the bag to our needs, but there is no right or wrong choice.
Different Versions Available for the Volcano Vaporizer
Digital Volcano Vaporizer
The digital version of the Volcano table-top vaporizer incorporates a digital display and buttons to select the desired temperature. It also incorporates an automatic shutdown after 30 minutes of inactivity, which is very useful and helps us extend the life of our marijuana vaporizer.
The classic version of the Volcano vaporizer, which is the most common among users, incorporates an analog wheel to regulate the temperature of the stove, which allows us to adjust it from position 1 (minimum temperature) to position 9 (maximum temperature). The choice of temperature depends on the tastes of each user and the freshness of the herbs inside the chamber.

Combustion Chamber and Vapor Production
As we have said before, the quality of the vape produced by the Volcano is unrivaled, for a smooth, dense, and very tasty vape. To get the best results in each vaporization session, we grind the herbs fairly well and compact them in the small chamber that has to accommodate them.
The volcano heats the herbs by convection, which means that it forces the heated air through the herbs. The contact surface between the hot air and the herbs is very large, much larger than in all competitive vaporizers, which plays a fundamental role in the quality of the vape produced.
To let the hot air pass through the cavity where the herbs are found, the Volcano uses a ceramic heating chamber, covered with iron which pushes the fresh air through a powerful pump located in the lower part of the vaporizer.
How Does the Volcano work?
The operation of the Volcano vaporizer for both versions, the classic and digital is very simple. Choose the temperature to which you want to vaporize, in the Classic version by turning the wheel and in the digital version, by pressing the + and - buttons. Once the temperature has been selected, press the "Heat" button on the lower part so that it starts to heat up. It’ll take about 3 to 5 minutes to warm up to the desired temperature.
As the volcano is warming up, the button will be red. Once the desired temperature is reached, the yellow "control" light illuminates and is ready to go. Next, place the nozzle with the herbs or oils on it, place the bag and press the "Air" button, the pump will activate and push the fresh air through the resistance and through the herbs, extracting all the essences and filling the bag. In about 30 seconds, the bag is filled with cannabis vape and is ready to be removed and enjoyed.
Volcano Temperature Selection
The main difference between the Volcano Classic and the Digital, is the digital display for temperature readings. On the digital screen, we can see very clearly at what temperature the vaporizer is and what temperature we want. On the other hand, the classic version, we leverage one wheel with nine positions ranging from 1 to 9.
Volcano Warranty
All versions of the Volcano table-top vaporizer have a 3-year warranty on materials and any manufacturing defects. However, the Storz and Bickel trademark always warns that the warranty covers only the first purchaser of the product. This means, no warranty if purchased from the used market.
Volcano Vaporizer Review - Buds Vapes Closing Thoughts
This is the best vaporizer on the market but it comes with a steep price tag. If you have the money you've got to buy one of these. We use ours everyday and have for the last 3 years. Make sure to grab extra bags and
